oil pressure

the problem i am haveing is my oil pressure guage sits at about 1/4 when the car is stoped but after about 2000 rpm the pressure is back up to 3/4. i just did an oil change. i first noticed the problem after i had to put my foot to the floor to get trought a light the pressure was normaly at 3/4. i have not noticed any oil leak. thanks for any help you can give me

A few things to check into:

Check for any vacuum leaks.
Have the oil pressure sender checked.
Check to see if your oil is the same as you had used.

I asked the last because a customer of mine (well my Dad's before I took over) had worked for a nationally oil company so due to company loyalty he used their oil in his cars. Well . . . one day he came in and all the lifters were knocking due to lost oil pressure. Daddy never had liked the oil the man used so we secretly replaced his oil with another brand and the pressure returned to normal and the lifters quieted down!
