check the fuse to your reverse lights. My SRS slight was on and i couldnt figure out why then i realized my reverse lights were not comming on, so i changed the fuse and it fixed both.

Probably doing a custom interior. Many people do it that way (especially highschool students). If oyu had disconnected the battery before doing it you would not be in this problem but it's a little late for that now. I would say your best bet is to go to a dealership and tell them what the deal is. They should be able to reset it no problem. and shouldn't charge you hardly anything if anything at all.

Dissconect the battery. And if you dont that, you run a high risk of them accidently going off.

Actually I think the dealer charges $60 for this.
And they are the only ones that can do it, I believe.

I did disconnect the batt befor i did the work....would be dumb not to ....they want 85 to reset the light i know on the civics all you have to do is cross the 2 yellow wires in the fuse box hoping there would be something like that...

Nothing wrong with hookin up your interior man.. don't let it get to you. as far as the resetting goes I personally don't know how to do it. You could try the wire trick that you know, coudln't hurt.. hopefully. You might end up having to have the system reset or just put up with the light. maybe you could try pulling the fuse and putting it back in? Sorry I can't be of more help. Good luck
