turbo elbow and downpipeo0Quicksilver0o 04-01-2004, 12:00 PM I am confused about these parts. what and where is the turbo elbow...its purpose too. and where is the downpipe and what does that do? GWInquisitor14 04-01-2004, 03:10 PM The downpipe is the exhaust pipe that comes after the manifold and turbocharger. Ive never heard of a turbo elbow. I have a turbo question though, is a T3/T 60-1 a large turbo? Also when they say 50 trim and 60 trim, what does that mean? o0Quicksilver0o 04-01-2004, 06:53 PM i am not expert by anymeans but, i believe a t3 is a good size for four bangers. smaller so we can spool them with the little exhuast we put out. If you have a four banger get a t3. and about the trim i have no idea. iknow people clip there fins in the exhuast side and compressor side in different shapes... that could be it but i am not sure. HSM Racing 04-02-2004, 11:45 AM If you email me i will send a full explaination of what a trim size does (kinda large paragragh from Turbonetics). You just named a super 60 Turbo...its not large...smaller than your T3/T4E Hybrids. You want big... go to the thumper series Turbos. www.headstrongmotors.com Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
