f23a motor in a 94 accord?

i have a 94 accord, i think a f22b1 motor , can i put a f23a1 motor out of a newer accord in it? and what is the differece? thanx

u prolly can since it is same series motor... bigger displacement. F23s get 150 hp and ?152? lbs of torque (LX & EX models only). Dont kno if its really gonna be worth it for u because u have an f22b1 right? if im not mistaken ur already have vtec and ur engine should be putting out 145 hp and ?147? lbs of torque. Since the f23 doesnt really put out that much more power... it wont be worth it for the money. I would keep ur motor because there is already so much parts for ur motor than any other f series motor. Of all i would get h22 if u want a motor swap. be happy with ur car cuz 5th gen accords are the best accord to soup up since it has the most parts available. good luck!

actualy, the only reason i asked is my motor has 230 k on it, and i found the other motor cheap, not lookin to make it faster, thanks, so you think it should fit though

you will not notice additional 5hp. if you you want make faster you should really look into getting H22 (predule engine)

lol, i said i do not want to make it faster!!! just want a new motor, and found a f23 alot cheaper than a f22 thats all, just wanted to know if it will fit

i don't want to make guarantees but i'm pretty damn sure it will fit.
