1987 Saab 9000 turbo - parts car - runs
This is a 1987 Saab turbo with 71,000 miles.
Car ran great up until a couple weeks ago. I started it up one day and it started running loud. I shut it off immediately because the oil light was on.
I think the oil pickup tubes are clogged up. This is a common problem with the 9000 series. They should be pretty easy (and cheap) to change for any decent mechanic. I tried running engine flush through it to unclog them; it did not help (long shot).
The car is drivable, but I would not recommend driving like it is.
The car has nice brown leather interior, heated seats good glass, several good body parts, working moon/sun roof combo, radio, a little rust over rear passenger wheel, tear in front bumper. Also, I just gave it a full tune-up and a new oxygen sensor which is about a $200 part (still new). Also, it has new transmission oil cooler ($50 part.)
Turbo does work!
$250 obo - must sell!
Car is located in wrigleyville. I can have it delivered for a small fee (depends on distance) ~$30
I can send pics
