Ive got someone who has a blown 1993 Civic Si motor, hes going to be ripping it apart to see whats good and whats bad... but if the head is still good, can I drop it onto my 1993 CX? Along with like the Si intake manifold, Si ECU and Si header (yes I know I will loose the catalytic converter in the CX) but will this stuff work? Im not expecting to run 14's ~ obviously. But a little more power from the CX would be nice... so will it work, basic bolts off and bolt on the new parts?

Also, does the 93 Si have VTEC? If so what would I need to drop the head and stuff onto the CX? The VTEC solenoid and ECU? Is that it??

whats blown? i say take the motor and replace whats messed up with it, take your time, build it up so its really strong, slap a supercharger and some nos, and THEN put it in your car....and your car would fly! hehe maybe not, but its a CX, it would be quicker than an SI due to weight

BTW: I forgot about the whole 1.5 - 1.6 thing, had a brain fart at the moment... not using anything from it :)
