97 GC with keyless entry. I cannot open the glass in the liftgate. I have checked the solenoid that releases it and it works fine. I have also checked the release switch and it is functioning. However, the two are not functioning together and I am getting power to the switch. Any clues?

Hi, have you ever found the solution to your glass/liftgate problem? I have the exact same year and model and have tested my solenoid on the battery, it works.... I've tested the switch sensor, that works as well. So, I was basically wondering if you ever solved it so I could eliminate a lot of headache. Thanks in advance.
