Cool ambers and fogs on only????

Hello from the great white north!
I was wondering what is required to make only my ambers and fogs come on....I like the look of that as I saw one driving with lights like that today.
Any help would be great.
PS.....what about the step down from the blazertech fogs you guys are always talking about.....are they almost as good for the price?
Thanks in advance
Phil.

If you have the DRL's disabled then just turn the fogs and ambers on.

"what about the step down from the blazertech fogs"

??

What year GP do u have?

My 98 its just a fuse, some other years you have to unplug the relay or something like that.

Find the DRL fuse in the glove box fuse box and pull it. If a constant dinging is not heard then u are good to go.

If the dinging does come on then you will need to disable the relay that is accesable on the driverside panal

i think i got your answer...i disabled my drl's using the same method as i linked to (or at least very similar it was a while ago). it is a sweet free mod to do, eveytime i startup my car i put on my parking lights and fog lights and it looks PIMP!!! the automatic lights light up when it's dark out but i wasn't worried about that. try this link and see if it helps. disable drl this is what mine looks like with the disabled..this was before my grills

hope this helps, Rob (both those pics are with it disabled)

I found another way to do this with my 99 GT (with the daylight running lights activated). With the knob used to manually turn on your headlights, simply turn the knob about halfway between "(amber) parking lights" and "headlights." There's a sweetspot in the switch that will activate only the amber lights and fog lights. It's tough find by feel, but you'll see the difference when parked facing a wall or looking at the reflection of a car in front of you.
