Early restoration phase. Not currently running, interior mostly torn out, top end of engine apart. Some rust, mostly straight frame and body. Needs everything. I'd be happy with $500, but mostly want it out of my garage.

Is there any way you could tell the location of the car and if you could lower the price. I would also be interested if you had any pictures of the car or tell the color of it and if it ran good when it did run?

Re: '65 MGB project for sale

The car currently resides in my garage in the Los Angeles area as it has for the past 12 years. Before that it lived in the Oxnard area I believe. I do have some pictures of the car but I haven't figured out if I can post them here or not. The original color was old english white, but it is currently an ugly shade of turquiose blue. I only drove it for a few months before I started tearing it apart. The plugs were oil-fouling and a local MG mechanic checked it out and told me it needed valves and guides. At this point price is not a real concern on mine, I want to be rid of it, and would like to get something...

Re: '65 MGB project for sale

some rust through toward the back of the right front fender and right dogleg. I have the rust repair panels but haven't welded them in yet. The floor pans are rusted through in spots, but Moss has replacements. I did a 9-point frame inspection for a guy in San Jose who was interested, and things look pretty straight. I've posted a photo in the gallery section under vehicle photographs, titled MG1.
