Unhappy Auto Tranny Heeeeelp!!!!!!!!

Hey, I have a 99 CR-V 4x4 (104,000miles) with a Auto Tranny and its starting to slip when you give it full throttle. I tried changing the tranny fluid with Honda Fluid and no difference. Has anyone else had this problem, if so what is the problem/fix for it. I think it has something to do with the Torque Converter but not sure. Please reply and let me know!

don't know about cr-v's, but check the throttle linkage. it may need tuned. i had a slipping problem with my geo, but it was because of a sensor. but i read that if you give it full throttle and it slips, that the throttle linkage may need adjusted. hope this helps at all

You could probably benefit from adding one of the automatic transmission conditioners. I bought some for my Grand Cherokee and later for my BMW. Now I have cases of it for customers. It's actually a group V ester that cleans parts and slightly swells seals. Excellent when they are leaking or are not shifting at the right point.

I have a 98 V with 107 and just went through the same issue. See the following to see the before and after. Look at hondasuv.com for the posts by hsurferman. LOL
