ALMS coming to Portland OR

This is the first year I've heard of the series coming around to my neck of the woods in Oregon. Gonna try and make it for sure, never actually been to a race. Does this mean by then I'm gonna see the Murcielago GT-R's, 575 GTC's, DB9's, and Enzo's (oops, I mean Maseratis)! Can't wait.

Sweet. What is the whole race experience like anyway. Is it like a ball game or something where you hand them your ticket and go sit in the stands. Or is it more involved where you can walk around the track, and maybe be able to get close to the cars before and after the race?

Its more inolved, you walk around, theres grandstands too if you wanna sit in em, but they are on the straights and thats kinda boring, you would be extremely suprised how close you can get, at laguna anyway the paddoc is open to spectators. and if you go to the winners circle about 20 mins before the race ends you can get right up front.
