Which Tuner Company has the best!jcsaleen 03-20-2004, 11:33 AM Which Tuner Company has the best tuned skyline! Blitz,Veilside or Topsecret or any other you know of! Is it true that veilsides skyline has 1600 hp? :useless: flylwsi 03-20-2004, 12:41 PM best tuned skyline for what? (if the thread is worthless without pics, why'd you start a thread without pics in it) hmm... mine's HKS greddy top secret veilside blitz who do you want? what is it for? honestly, the best skylines aren't brand loyal. they're performance loyal. they use the best parts from all brands to make one badass car. but again, what do you want it to be best for? jcsaleen 03-20-2004, 12:56 PM best tuned skyline for what? best tuned engine as far as most hp why'd you start a thread without pics in it. I dont kno how i just hope people post pics of what they have. who do you want? dosent matter its all about what u think flylwsi 03-20-2004, 01:30 PM so you're looking for a dyno queen... there are skylines, such as the veilside car you mentioned, that are making 1600hp. that's the limit for the rb26 as far as is generally known... this would be far better seen and replied to in the "general" forum under skylines. you may want to ask a mod to move it for you. jcsaleen 03-20-2004, 02:43 PM ehh its ok 1 post out of 1,300,000 isn't gonna kill any1 lol. oi_boy 03-20-2004, 02:43 PM ive always been a big fan of HKS and GReddy performance wise. they seem to really know how engines work and how to get the maximum power out of em. as far as aerodynamics, id go with veilside, EXPENSIVE but top of the line and wont break for shit. jcsaleen 03-20-2004, 02:45 PM What do u think the best lookin skyline is? I like the 3 nismo modded skylines flylwsi 03-20-2004, 03:15 PM best looking is objective... completely... hks and greddy are two of the biggest name in the aftermarket, but not as big for the skyline. that's what happens when you don't know tons of tuners who tune these puppies, you go for mainstream... ;) how bout tomei? they use a mix of parts... they're awesome tuners there's some great tuners that are simply shops in japan and australia that have stuff we can only dream of, and aren't based on one product line. VQuick 03-20-2004, 04:08 PM there's some great tuners that are simply shops in japan and australia that have stuff we can only dream of, and aren't based on one product line. Exactly. Signal Auto(several high-profile GT-Rs), RS Feast(time attack R32 GT-R), Croydon Wholesalers(9-sec R32 GT-R), and M's Garage(800hp+ widebody R32 GT-R with chameleon paint) come to mind, for example. oi_boy 03-20-2004, 07:44 PM HKS tunes some nice skylines man, i dunno what your talkin about. best looking? depends on the model. r32 http://www.veilside.com/veilsideusa/aero/nissan/32gtrci.html# r33 http://www.veilside.com/veilsideusa/aero/nissan/33gtrce.html# r34 (hate to say it, but its my opinion) http://www.angelfire.com/mac/ladies4u/abm.jpg those are all GTRs SkylineUSA 03-22-2004, 02:24 PM There is no BEST. They are all good at what they do. jcsaleen 04-21-2004, 08:52 PM Does any1 know the topend on the veilside skyline? VQuick 04-21-2004, 10:40 PM Does any1 know the topend on the veilside skyline? The white R34? I think it was somewhere around 214-7mph. RazorGTR 04-22-2004, 05:33 AM Exactly. Signal Auto(several high-profile GT-Rs), RS Feast(time attack R32 GT-R), Croydon Wholesalers(9-sec R32 GT-R), and M's Garage(800hp+ widebody R32 GT-R with chameleon paint) come to mind, for example. Actually the Croydon Wholesalers R32 GTR has done an 8.54. Also in New Zealand is the Heat Treatments GTR which has done an 8.4 . oi_boy 04-23-2004, 04:33 PM yea the veilside sky has 1600+ hp at the wheel. SkylineUSA 04-23-2004, 05:23 PM yea the veilside sky has 1600+ hp at the wheel. How long do you think a RB26 1600hp engine lasts? I believe its measured in min not miles:) oi_boy 04-23-2004, 06:55 PM i have no clue. all i know is that the thing is a beast. jcsaleen 04-28-2004, 10:20 AM oi_boy~ i have no clue. all i know is that the thing is a beast. Yea the thing is a beast. I think it was somewhere around 214-7mph. ~ Vquick But wouldnt it be more than that considering the blitz which has almost half the hp with only 850 has redlined @ 214. I think that thing must do at least 220 as long as it has topend ratio and not a stock gtr gear ratio. HondaHater 04-28-2004, 10:59 AM sorry to be off topic, but flywheel dude's sig is nice on the ownage of the fearless supra. hahaaha first off i thought the supra was owning ppl but i was wrong. hahahahaha funny as hell, dude didnt even come back HondaHater 04-28-2004, 11:19 AM dayummmmmm the proburban thread. OWNED BIG TIME. LMAO the pictures. damn, you crack me up. The Veilside was in a top speed contest that took place in New Zealand. There wasn't a lot of space to drive, only a few miles to accelerate to top speed, then come to a stop. The 21xmph range was all they could reach in that space. The Blitz on the other hand, was on the Autobahn, and had much more space for their top speed run. jcsaleen 05-10-2004, 10:26 AM The Veilside and Blitz cars were run in two very different environments.
