Valentine 1

Has anyone on this list ever installed a Valentine 1 radar detector into a BMW X5? I'm looking for some advice on how to do a nice, professional installation.

TIA

I work as a BMW tech. I see more of those valentine radar detectors in BMWs more than I see anything else. Yes, I see them in all makes and models of BMW's. I'm beginning to think it's a BMW thing. They are very good for spotting police vehicles. I just drove by the scene of an accident and the radar detector was going off from just the police cars sitting on the side of the road for the accident. Highly recommended.

Its a good radar detector I have a few friends that use them. I will tell you what though there are a lot of good detectors out there like the Passport. I myself have a whistler and I can not tell you how many tickets I have gotten out of. Granted it does not tell me that the officer is 1432 feet NNW of my location, but it does alert me in approriate time to react.
