vibration at high speeds

hi
my car used to vibrate when i hit the breaks (hard or gradually) and so i took it in. got the driver's side front hub and bearing replaced since the hub had a play in it. also resurfaced the rotors to make sure they were not warped.

now the car shakes at about 65-70mph (normal freeway driving) and was wondering what it could be. the car's only 3 yrs old and has 57K on it (mostly highway miles)

any ideas?

thanks

Re: vibration at high speeds

If you resurfaced the rotors and installed new bearings did you got your car alligned and the tires balanced? Also did you made sure that the log nuts were torqued to the specifiq torque?

Re: Re: vibration at high speeds

hey kilroypr
thanks for the feedback
no, i haven't got the car aligned (do u mean wheel alignment here). neither have i balanced my tyres.
my old set of tyres are worn out and i was thinking i'll get the wheel alignment and balancing done when i get new tyres

thanks once again
