Ahh.. the power of 288 GTOigor@af 05-01-2001, 08:07 PM MBTN 05-01-2001, 08:41 PM True! Sometimes words are hopelessly inadequate... :eek2: enzo@af 05-01-2001, 09:02 PM beautiful is inadequate perfect is inadequate Porsche 05-02-2001, 06:31 PM WTF? wasn't that a Mercedes-Benz ad for the S-Class? Beautiful pic. :) :sun: enzo@af 05-20-2001, 12:19 PM I like that smokestack looking thing in the background. That's what my chimney will look like when I buy a house:D Chris 05-20-2001, 03:05 PM Heres one way to put it: In 50+ years, there have been Ferrari's and there have been Ferrari's. The 288 GTO i is a Ferrari! Other than that, it is hopeless. Words suck, we should all be tele-pathetic. Oh, if you have to ask, you wouldn't understand. DVSNCYNIKL 05-20-2001, 04:40 PM I think it looks ricey! :D j/k Chris 05-21-2001, 08:55 PM I don't know where you get this rice idea from. The only problem with it is that black bumper. But that is a minor gripe, considering the performance. Hey Enzo, I saw that pic of (supposedly) you in a 456. Is that really you, and if so, tell us about it! Chris 05-21-2001, 08:56 PM I guess this really should be in the 456 area, but I saw your name and went for it:D Porsche 05-21-2001, 10:15 PM LOL Enzo, I would want a giant Ferrari logo on my house to, or wait, check the Porsche Assembly plant in Stuttgart, I want that on my house. BTW, Chris it's a 550 he's in. DVSNCYNIKL 05-21-2001, 10:21 PM Originally posted by Chris I don't know where you get this rice idea from. The only problem with it is that black bumper. Please tell me that you can tell sarcasm when you hear it. Chris 05-22-2001, 09:58 AM Oh, to me it looked like it had some space behind the seat, so I said 456. In the picture I saw you could hardly see and of the car, I had barely a window to work with. Tell us about though! Please;) DVSNCYNIKL 05-22-2001, 11:45 AM Originally posted by Chris Oh, to me it looked like it had some space behind the seat, so I said 456. I was joking anywayz! enzo@af 05-22-2001, 02:19 PM Well, if the car was black, then that was unite@af (subaru mod). The silver 550 was me. Well, it all happened on a friday afternoon when unite called me. He told me Duke (the guy who owns the Ferraris) was going to be in town, and that his dad (unite's dad) was gonna be checking out his eyes that night! He was sure Duke would give us rides. So, I of course got in my car and drove to our hometown. Sure enough, Duke comes, shows off (I would too) his car a bit, and then is going to drive unite somewhere where we could all see it better (it was dark out). So, good friend that he is, unite offers the ride to me! I got in, we drove to a well lit area, took some pictures, and had a good time. Unfortunately, it was somewhat rainy out so he was hesitant about really getting on it, but along the short drive he did break the rear end loose....driving along in second at about 35, punches it and all of the sudded we've slid into the next lane! Fun time...thanks again, unite. Chris 05-22-2001, 05:02 PM Man, that sounds awesome. This is the picture I meant though, it certainly doesn't look like a subaru! Oh yah, I hate you (not really, just that you got to go in 550, you indecent bastard!)http://www.proaxis.com/~pearsond/Ferrari/f3.jpg Chris 05-22-2001, 05:05 PM I guess it could be a 550, unfortunetly I don't know as much as I wish I knew about cars, but pretty much everyone I know in real life thinks I know everything. C'mon, can't someone else see where I got 456 from?? MBTN 05-22-2001, 06:44 PM NO! :D Does it look like i has seats in the back? Look at the back of the car too. Porsche 05-22-2001, 10:16 PM I see customized Luggage racks! Chris 05-23-2001, 10:17 AM Well, the 456 isn't exactly capacious, so I just went to quickly. Here are pictures of the 456 and 550, and I see my error (but the cars are very similiar, so it isn't all my fault. They use the same engine, in different tune, most of the body work and other stuff are very similiar.) http://www.ferrari.com/ferrari/images/456_m/210x130/photo_threequarter.jpg http://www.ferrari.com/ferrari/images/550_maranello/210x130/photo_side.jpg http://www.ferrari.com/ferrari/images/550_maranello/210x130/photo_threequarter.jpg JTS 06-28-2001, 11:05 PM Couldn't agree more. This car defies mere words...... Heep 06-29-2001, 05:39 PM :eek2: Porsche 06-29-2001, 05:50 PM :eek2: is right! Worshp 07-31-2001, 11:24 PM It's my fave Ferrari of all time!:D:cry: MeanRex7 03-29-2003, 11:59 PM Originally posted by Worshp It's my fave Ferrari of all time!:D:cry: Mine too :D Beautiful, turbocharged, very light, great horsepower to start, and a ferrari :D Would be great to add some modern turbochargers (perhaps some modern dual ball bearing IHI turbos), modern wastegates, and modern intercoolers to this thing. help with the classic 80s turbo lag. MeanRex7 03-30-2003, 12:01 AM :-D MeanRex7 03-30-2003, 12:02 AM !
