remove paint?

Can anyone suggest a way to remove paint that was the result of my hitting a concrete post that was painted white? Obviously I dont want to damage the factory paint or the clear coat. TIA,Jim

Re: remove paint?

Welcome to AF; if it's not too bad, just a thin layer, you could try your hand at a small amount of paint thinner on it.

A lot of times a little hard rubbing with a finger nail can take it off. The paint they use to paint posts and stuff is a cheap rubbery paint so often a little scraping with a finger nail will take the paint off.
