I concur. JoeWagon may seem harsh at times, but he is just trying to maintain the integrity of the forum. It gets really old when people post "What is the difference between the GS-T and GSX?" over and over without using the search function. And he (as well as everyone else I can think of on this forum) also appreciates proper English, so that it is not impossible to decipher what time-wasting question the fool is asking :lol: Don't start a thread bashing members though--not cool at all.

I never will insult someone on their knowledge. I am still a big newbie to DSMs compared to LandoAWD and 95 GSXracer... not to mention many others like EclipseRST and Import2nr99 have specific fields which I'll never be that smart. That would just be hypocritical.

However, it's sad that this board has zero mental requirements for posting (can you say... NABR?) so when I see a post that disobeys the rules of other DSM forums (english, search first, etc...) i'll criticize them for it. I don't care if someone hates me because I told them that they suck at English, unless they aren't from an english speaking country of course. Have a nice day.

Plus asking questions before searching has been criticised multiple times. Joewagon is probably one of the most knowledgable people when it comes to the engines of these cars. along with the aformentioned folks. I, as we all know, am not! Imoprt2nr99 is right. i was a newbie once and i posted some stupid ass questions, and joewagon ripped me for it but you don't see me starting a tread bitching and complianing about it. i understood that i asked a dumb question and he had every right to correct me, and still has every right to put me in my place if i step out of line again or ask more stupid questions. this goes with the others here that know there shit. i don't know everything but since i joined and read alot of the posts i am a ton more knowledgable than i used to be on these cars. this site is a great tool not a chat room to endlessly ask stupid questions. as far as the aim shorthand i do it occasionally because i'm so used to it but i do my best to use proper english now and yes joewagon corrected me on that. i almost burned my bridge with EclipseRST(jake) because i was talkin shit about a motor i knew little to nothing about but now jake is one of the best people i have ever met. you never kno when you might need that bridge. take our advice and LEARN from it. i don't mean to be a dick but i just felt these needed to be said.

As far as the topic at hand, I dont have much to say. JoeWagon is pretty humble, and that says a lot for a person. I think bostonjoe learned a lesson in humility himself in this thread (I hope), and he will probably be a better person for it. No hard feelings, everyone here is trying to help (unlike some lesser forums). This forum may be average for knowledge, but its big on its sense of community and thirst for knowledge. Thats why I like it here ;)
