my favorite set up is all motor because not only do you have the potential to bring the max hp out of the engine your building your doing it NA and with out power additives such as nitrous and turbo. In my opinion I would also want to race and beat some one with an all motor set up and say I won with my motor and not my turbo or nitrous. I would also take a lose better to someone with an all motor set rather than someone run on turbo or nitrous because of the fact that you lost fair and square to somebody that has "NO NITROUS OR NO TURBO"!! You just seem to get more respect that way. But dont get me wrong I love turbo you have endless possiblities to work with, and nitrous in my opinion is a quick way out!

Re: Whats Your Favorite Setup
Well If You Pay Attention To My Question, I Put A Smilely Face Next To Allmotor Because Its What I Prefer. I Dont Like The Catosrophic(sp) Mess Nitrous Leaves Behind, And Turbo Cost Way Too Much And Is Way Less Maintenance Free And Reliable Than An Allmotor Setup

All motor has potential,Turbo has more potential, Nitrous can help in many ways and also a cheap mod that can blow away tailgaters

Re: Whats Your Favorite Setup
Yes turbo is high maintenance and nitrous is just a motor eater. But if you build a motor for turbo then you should be fine. But hey I would prefer to have an all motor car too but the sound of turbo is lovely.

Re: Whats Your Favorite Setup
Turbo would be that best way to go. If it is well-matained You can run turbo on your car all day. Not HIGH boosting turbo, but turbo. As for N2O, That is just instant heat. A well mantained motor doesnt stay over-heated enough to warp everything. That is what N2O will do.

Re: Whats Your Favorite Setup
I'm building an all motor 12:1 engine because I whant to have fun experimenting the potencial of this engine. I don't have a lot of money to burn in a turbo system, so I whent all motor to get a reliable trac-street car. Don't get me wrong but if I had the money I'll go turbo I just love to hear some day WHOOOOSH!!!!!! coming from inside my hood!

Re: Whats Your Favorite Setup
however, unless you plan on running on race gas at all times, the turbo will make more power day to day. plus, show me a neon thats making just 400 without a tubo/supercharger/nos let alone 600. just not as possiable
