Which is better for a 96 sohc the 3.0 intake or a cold air intake

hehe... the Iceman CAI (Cold Air Intake) is known to be one of the best for first-generation neon's. However, it's price does set a few people off from it. The 3.0L Intake mod is a close second to the Iceman and is a fraction of the cost. The main disadvantages of the 3.0 intake are trying to find the 3.0 intake tube (either from online auctions or your local junkyards) and modifying or moving your battery tray somewhat to allow the tube and filter to sit properly. The Iceman comes with a new battery tray that moves the battery back a little and makes installation much easier.

If you have the cash, get an Iceman... you'll love it. If your looking for a cheaper mod & dont mind a little extra work on installing it, then the 3.0 Intake mod is your ticket.
