Question 98 Venture drivers door won't open..Solved

Took my 98 Venture to Auto Zone to get mud flaps for my 2004 Venture. When I came out of the store my front drivers door wouldn't open. The door tries to open when I pull the handle, but it's like the hinges in the front are stuck. The back of the door opens about 1 to 2" then there is a bind in the front of the door. I messed with the seat belt thinking there could be something about it that won't release the door hings, but it won't open. I've never seen anything like this before...

This van had it's automatic window regulator replaced a year ago. The Tech who worked on it must not have snapped the door panel cover clips firmly in place. The door panel cover was hanging up on the door frame which wouldn't allow it to open. It took me an hour to figure this out.
