Speed ABS Sensor help

Got a 92t with a speedo that don't work and had my buddy run a diag on it to make sure it's the sensor before I spend the money on the part. He said it looks like it's the sensor but the alldata says that it also controls the abs so if the sensor is broke then the abs light should be on but it's not and my abs works fine. It does have independent wheel sensors in the front and one in the back. So I thought I'd see if ne one can help me out.

Re: Speed ABS Sensor help

If the speedo doesn't work then the cable is broken, it's mechanical. If the ABS isn't working properly the ABS light will come on at startup and stay on, if everything is fine it will blink a few times and go off. Pull the ABS codes, you don't need a codechecker, just do it exaclty like is explained here and it will tell you exaclty what the problem is...
