rev limiters

anyone know how to disable this or the cheapest way to replace them in a '96 intrep? i have looked at the jet performance chips... are they worth it?

I had a '96 intrepid I put a chip in. I got it from a company in California. The specs were supposed to be better than jet's chips. I thought it worked great. It was about $200 or 250 don't remember though. I can try and find the company name. Will let you know.

just click on the link and then click on the link to the homepage when it won't load. then just put in the info of your car. when it gives you the list go down to computer.

You want chip ecm upgrade and/or chip power tuning.

thanks so much, it says i would have to send my existing chhip in to jet and have them dink around with it. i don't know how big i am on that since i wouldn't have a functioning car for a bit... but we will see what happens.
