Does anyone have a problem with a power steering pump leaking at the hoses or at the back of the pump. How hard is it to change the pump? Is the pump really $250.00?!?!? Any help is appreciated.

P/S pumps leaking are a very common problem. Take a look at the high pressure line and the rack, they leak too. They pump is fairly tough to replace. It's a messy job, and the top mounting bolt, and the high pressure line can be tough to get to.
Good luck.

The pump, if bought from factory, or Toyota dealer is about $250.00, if bought from Advance or something, it's about $175.00 with exchange. It's very difficult job to do, although if you have good enough experience, and you know how to tinker with engine mounts, removing them, and jacking the engine up higher than what it originally sets, you might be able to get to it.
