Yo guys
I have 30k miles on my car and also have a straight through muffler. I;ve noticed that the exhuast gases SMELL like fuel. also i get 10-15 miles to the gallon. i'm going to replace my plugs as soon as they come in from the mail, but is there anything else i should worry about?

Sounds like the plugs are bad and that you are running too rich. If you have 30,000 on the car... get it to the dealer and complain that you are running rich.. repairs should be made under warranty

what a myth.

the owners manual says to run 87 octane on every car other than the Si which is to run 89. The motors are designed to run on these octanes. Why overkill? I get better mileage with 89 gas than I do with 94. It shows to maybe take the manuals advice once in a while.

Yah my car did that and it's still doing that. Only when I start her up for the first 5minutes or so. Like I start it up I see this whitish smoke and I sniff and it's fuel smell. Then it goes away when the car is warm. I ran rich for a while I was getting like 18-20mpg and when I drive good and if lucky I get 25. Then I reset my ecu and my gas milage gotten better. Don't know why must have been because I reset the ecu last winter in the cold and that must have made it idle more or something.
