Is aprox 210-215degrees normal

I have a 97 1500 with 360. The temp gauge always read above 200. Usually around 210 or 215. Is this normal for this truck. I have seen other trucks run normally below 200. Should I be conserned about this. It never runs hot but this just seems a little high.

Maybe you're low on coolant or something. It shouldn't be running that high.

I have the same truck and it ran at the same temp as yours. Just go to your local dodge dealer and pick up a 190 degree thermostat. The truck will run cooler and it could even help your gas milage.

I have a '96 and did the same thing. It is a little time consuming to change it though.
