Carbon fiber molding?civicrunner 03-06-2004, 12:02 AM Is it possible to mold carbon fiber like you would fiberglass? If so is it possible to get it in its raw form and then mold/form it on my own? Thanks! tibby01 03-06-2004, 06:30 PM yup. http://www.fibreglast.com/ sometimes you can find cf mat on ebay for cheap. just make sure the weave is good. eckoman_pdx 03-07-2004, 08:25 PM Yea, that's how it's done...CF mat is overlaid...carbon fiber mat can be tricky to work with if you haven't used it before, but yea, as tibby said, it can be done. Just make sure you buy a qaulity weave. Carbon Fiber mat isn't cheap, so if you find a sale or a good weave for cheap, have at it if you want to. civicrunner 03-08-2004, 02:26 PM Thanks guys I really appreciate it! eckoman_pdx 03-08-2004, 07:34 PM Thanks guys I really appreciate it!
