My freind has a 89 prelude which currently has a B20A5. Does anyone know if a 1st gen Jdm B16A will bolt in without extreme fabrication??

It wont swap for less than 5 grand, And for 4 grand you can swap an H22A4 USDM spec. Been here and done this with a buddy.

Assuming its a 95-04 prelude you could swap a H22A motor with a kit.

Engine Control Unit (ECU)
Wiring Harness
Distributor
Intake Manifold
Exhaust Manifold
Alternator
Air Conditioning Pump
Power Steering Pump

&
For extra you can purchase
Available Options (if in-stock):
Axles: $75.00USD
Shift Linkage: $70.00USD
LSD: $375.00USD

You can find this motor for about 2,399.00 which totals about 3K with shipping a little less. Check it out here http://www.totaljdm.com/?id=40320

A little off subject, but what kind of car do you put an h23a in?

h23a's come out of 92-96 Prelude Si's

you can put them into any car you want, provided you have the mounts.
