Question 2000 Chevy Venture rear wheel bearings

Has any one changed rear wheel bearings on a 2000 Venture. I'm getting a vibration from the back and it is acting like a bearing. Anybody have any pointers?

Re: 2000 Chevy Venture rear wheel bearings

you need to replace the whole hub assembly for each side. did you check them for play?? jack it up and try moving the wheels side to side. i think theres 4 bolts holding the hub on might have to remove some of the brake parts to get it out. just so you know these things aren't cheap. are you sure it's not a tire vibration?? try switching the front/rear tires. 90% of the time there is a rear vibration in these things it's because the wheels have mud stuck inside them. so clean out the rims before you get too carried away. good luck!!
