Shaved inner tail lights???RedCivicSi 03-05-2004, 01:50 AM I have a red 99 civic si and I was wondering if I should shave the inner tail lights off the trunk and french my license plate????What does everyone think of my exterior mod list so far???? Current exterior mods: Tsunami t2000 front bumper Black widow sides and rear VIS oem carbon fiber hood 17" Velox Vx8 Gun Metal wheels 205/40/17 toyo tires NO ALTEZZAS!!! I HATE THEM!!!! lkailburn 03-05-2004, 12:30 PM i like the oem cf hood, toyo tires, can't remember what the vx8 look like off the top of my head, i HATE bw sides, t2000 front is ok but too flashy for me but remember, in the end, do what you like best, its your ride edit: i'm not a fan of shaved inner tails, but i think a frenched licesnce plate holder would look really really nice.. along with frenched door handles :grinyes: kicker1_solo 03-06-2004, 03:05 AM I say go for both of those, it would look great. eckoman_pdx 03-07-2004, 08:09 PM Frenching thr plate holder would look good, and as lkailburn suggested, the handles would look nice too. I think Kicker1_solo has some pics of that he could show you, it would compliment the plate holder well. I am not a huge fan of shaved inner tailights, if you do that, make sure to hook up a white resevrse light somewhere on the back to stay legel. Also, congrats on no chrome tails, lol. kicker1_solo 03-07-2004, 10:16 PM I think Kicker1_solo has some pics of that he could show you only pic I could find tonight http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid95/pa53b2f44290a9cd979fa3724dd1fc710/fa344ace.jpg maybe I'll take one tomorrow... mjshort18 03-07-2004, 10:41 PM can someone tell me what frenching is? is it the diagonal possitioned liscense plates that you sometimes see on trucks? kicker1_solo 03-08-2004, 12:15 AM here's a pic of frenched door handles http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid85/p07c63803114751fc517c3c702ce38624/fab8d7b9.jpg Notice how the line around the door handle has been removed?
