Replacing front fender

I am in the process of replacing my left front fender after hitting a deer. To get to the screw closest to the windshield, I have to pop off the black plastic guard running at the base of the windshield. I can do that but the bottom of the wiper arm denies me access to the screw. Can anyone out there tell me how to remove the whole wiper arm?

Thanks. I would appreciate it

Clear as mud. I guess when I figure it out I'll come back and write how to do it in this section (not). Imagine, someone asking questions in the how to and installation section.

I think I'll drive through and keep going.
