'00 vs '03 Main Instrument Panel Different?

Just bought the brushed aluminum overlay for my 2000 Tundra. I had to order the kit for a 2003 because they did not list one for a 2000 model. All the holes line up but it doesn't fit right. From the model year 2000 to 2003, did the "instrument panel" that houses the radio and heat/AC controls change?

By the lack of response I guess there's not too many techies out there but I did return it to wooddash.com. Unfortunately Sherwood Dash (the maker of the kit) is in Ontario, Canada. Fed-Ex charged me $50.00 for the return!
