Braking Problem

My parents '93 Sentra Classic 4dr is having a problem whenever you press the brakes, it sounds like the brakes are grinding up against the body and then when you let go of the brakes you hear something spinning (like a wheel about to fall off)

Your pads are just gone. Get them fixed.

Some of these guys say just get your pads checked.... i think there wrong. I have had the same problems with an old Infiniti J30 of mine. What you need to do is yes definetly change the Brake Pads but also check your rotors on the car if there as bad as I think they might be you may have to get new ones.....but if there not that bad i reccomend you just get them shaved down. Then they should be just fine.
