Oh do they put the QR25DE in the new Primera? ( should it be called P12? ) Interesting! What happen to the SR20VE with 190hp and six speed CVT tranny?

No, no, no. I hope this isn't the new trend in interior design! The gauges belong IN FRONT of the driver. Now it becomes harder to conceal your speeding from the wife/girlfriend/significant other.

As for the exterior shots. I like the lines of the car but the grill has to change. Fill in the parts hanging below the headlight line and it would be that much better

Yipes!!!! Good thing they didn't bring that style over for 2002 or I'd be driving something else....I just read about nissan getting turned back on its feet finance wise, but sheesh this can't help.... But then again maybe this is what we are coming to? I was hoping more for flying cars but spacey looking ones is a step I guess????

i'd rather see the Euro-spec redesigned P11's come over instead of the P12's.

The P12 looks like it evolved from an altima body style.. and its also not on our beloved SR20 engine platform, which means 0 aftermarket right now.

i wont even go to the issue that i'd never drive a car that looks like that....

what is wrong with the current body style? it may be 3 years old, but it sure beats that. someone said it looks like an altima, and they are absolutely right. UGLY in my opinion. the p11 g20 is one of the best looking cars on the market IMHO, and now they are going to change it. the interior looks like a new Q with the gauges in the middle where you cant see them.

listen up infiniti,
put a qr25de, or det, or any of the other higher-performance 4-bangers that are in existence under the hood, and the g20 will sell well. and dont make the car look like that. people that buy g20's want a 4 door car that is sporty and is a driver's car. it does not need to be bigger, slower, and less sporty.

just my .02

I cant beleive they could take a great car they have at the present time and turn it in to that
The general lines and shape are not to bad looking though.
As Jason said the front bumper is a shocker though. It just dosen't look right. Far to much bumper/panel leading up to the headlights. Just think of a nice low spoiler that some of us have on our cars at present......it will like look a snow plough !!!!
Dont like how the arse end comes to a point in the centre.
It has lost that sports look to it, but maybe they are looking towards a different market of buyers ???

As for the inside....i guess you either love it or hate it. Why a centre cluster of gauges in the middle of it ???
I guess someone thought they may lead the way by doing this and others may follow..... HAHAHA :finger: :finger: I DONT THINK SO !!!!!
Any way, thats my veiw.
But i'll try and keep a open mind untill i see it for real at a car lot

Because u can see them better there!!! They are not blocked by the steering wheel and your hands at any time!!! Come on, ppl. I used to dislike this very much until I've driven a Toyota Yaris. I know it's hard to accept sth new. Try it, get used to that, and you'll never go back.

Too bad it's visible to the passenger, though. The Yaris gauges can be seen by the driver *only*
