I just got my 2001 Sequoia and it did not have the manual. Can anyone tell me how to program the garage door opener on this thing??

Thanks
Mike

Hold button on the garage door opener on the roof console of the car for about 20 seconds. The light will blink once per second. After 20 seconds, hold the garage door opener within 1 inch of console opener adn press the button. The light on console should start to blink really fast, showing that it has learned the code.

Waaaaah. I've tried this numerous times and it's not working! My garage remote is a working remote by the way. It starts blinking really fast and I think it's going to work and then NOTHING happens when I push the button on the roof. :(

Does your garage door opener have a rolling security code feature? After you program the button in the Sequoia, you have to use the learn feature on your garage door opener and push the Sequoia button you programmed. Just got mine. I haven't tried this yet, but that is what the book says to do.

I had to press a button on my garage door opener during the learn process. I had to look up my garage door manual on the web to find the right sequence and the location of the button.
