I was creeping up to a turn in town making a left turn at 30kmh when i turned the wheel the car kept going straight. As I went straight i took my foot off the gas and kept turning the wheel and braking but as the car corrected itself a poltergiest stepped on the gas sending me fast to the left and then i countered it , was so fast and freaked the hell out of me. I went to a parking lot and tried to simulate the scenario and it happened a few more times. I drove slow to work and looked at my throttle body and it was not sticking(spooky shit) i also looked at my tye rods and sway bar. The sway bar was botched with one of those survey wires so i removed it and tried to simulate the scenario again and it acted fine. Now that was solved , but i need to find out why the throttle kicked in so suddenly and i mean it kicked in full. Any ideas?

are you sure you didn't hit the gas while braking? this is kind of freaky. did you ever see that maximum overdrive movie?? its because of radio waves from aliens or something. do you have cruise control? thats the only other thing that could open the throttle valve but highly unlikely.

maybe you had cruise control on and didn't know it.

ok fellas , cruise controll doesnt work unless your going 40kmh or faster , and i havent had it on in weeks , but i do think the maximum overdrive theory is kinda cool theory. I think i need to have my electronic mods checked out. Thanks for the laugh amac , cool.

yea if you have some type of computer mods then that would be the problem.

I agree urweak , im having a fight with jet performance on the matter. Could be a lawsuit if they dont help me. I have a copy of the e-mail i sent the customer service line and they played dumb like they cant understand what i was saying when i made it so clear with the troubles i am having. I called the hotline and had an arguement with 3 support staff members on the matter.
any way , i want your opinion urweak , if my car is in park , should the rpms go from 650-1200? they go up to 2200 at times as well. When my car is running i can turn it on , but when i try to turn the module off it doesnt stop the high idle unless i turn the car off then start it again. sometimes it wont start again unless i feather the gas while turning the key. any ideas?

you have a vacuum leak or a bad lower intake manifold gasket. check the brake booster hose unhook it and plug it if it runs normal the booster is bad which could explain the power burst you experienced.

theres no vacuum leak and the lower intake gasket is fine. This motor is not leaking anything but thanks for the help. This motor is tip top , the problem is with the electronics i had installed and i need to work the bugs out. Thanks tho amac.

I had a bad sensor in module , loose solder on idle control sensor line , soldered it back and its good.
