1998 silverado vortech Coolant leak around fitting

I have a 1998 Silverado and there is a small coolant leak around the fitting in the front of the intake manifold. I would like some help on how the fitting is removed. Is it a quick connect fitting? Does it have a o-ring or a flare-nut type connector.
Thanks

Re: 1998 silverado vortech Coolant leak around fitting

If it is a 5.7L, remove the pipe by squeezing the tabs and pulling the pipe out. then use a 1 1/8" wrench to remove the connector from the manifold, but be careful, those have a tendency to break off. then they are a real chore to drill and tap out the manifold. they are sealed by a pipe threading and thread sealant with an o-ring type seal that seals the pipe to the connector
