Re: Need Help!...Speaker Installation.
Ok guys, here is the run down on this, for the back, all you have to do it lift up on the back of the seat. they are clipped in with siple clips that pop out. No problems. You must also take the third brake light out before you can remove the panel from the back "dash" Then there are four screws on each speaker and bam you are done... now the fronts do get a little more difficult. You run in to a problem when replacing the front speakers. There are screw in the arm rest that need to come out, after you pull the screws, you will need to pop the panel off, be careful though, you do not want to bust the clips, they rip out of the cardboard easy, also it will not come out that far until you unplug the door/window controls, you have to reach up pretty far to unplug them and it is a blind job, you will have to do it by fill. Once you get the panel off you have free access to the spreakers that have a bracket on them, do not get rid of this bracket. No matter what speaker you put in there, you will need this bracket if you want your windows to work right. You may have the shave the inside of the door panel depending on the speakers you put in. Also, just a little tip, while you have the panel off, I recomend that you grease the window track. The Staza have a reputation of the window getting stuck in my experiance. Any questions, feel free to ask. I have had this car torn down the almost nothing inside.
