Ok guys, here is the run down on this, for the back, all you have to do it lift up on the back of the seat. they are clipped in with siple clips that pop out. No problems. You must also take the third brake light out before you can remove the panel from the back "dash" Then there are four screws on each speaker and bam you are done... now the fronts do get a little more difficult. You run in to a problem when replacing the front speakers. There are screw in the arm rest that need to come out, after you pull the screws, you will need to pop the panel off, be careful though, you do not want to bust the clips, they rip out of the cardboard easy, also it will not come out that far until you unplug the door/window controls, you have to reach up pretty far to unplug them and it is a blind job, you will have to do it by fill. Once you get the panel off you have free access to the spreakers that have a bracket on them, do not get rid of this bracket. No matter what speaker you put in there, you will need this bracket if you want your windows to work right. You may have the shave the inside of the door panel depending on the speakers you put in. Also, just a little tip, while you have the panel off, I recomend that you grease the window track. The Staza have a reputation of the window getting stuck in my experiance. Any questions, feel free to ask. I have had this car torn down the almost nothing inside.

Talking Re: Need Help!...Speaker Installation.

I'd hate to put the damper on Hillcows word, but the rear speakers are alot harder than that. I just had to figure it out on my '92 Stanza XE. The first step is to remove the two 10mm bolts holding the Seat Back in place, one on each side of the seat back. Lift up the seat bottom (the part you sit on) right near each of the rear doors, it bends pretty easily because it's just a wire frame, and each bolt has like a protective cloth type thing covering it. (this just stops the head of the bolt from tearing up the seat cloth) once those are out of the way put down the center arm rest in the back seat and take off the caps that cover the two bolts in there. Once all that is out of the way, Then, and only then can you remove the seat back. there are 3 lock in clip type points, this is what I believe Hillcows was talking about, they go down from under the headrest portion into the rear deck, and there isn't a trick to them, they're just a pain in the rear to get undone, just find a way to lift the seat back straight up, and they come undone. then the rear deck is held down the same way the door panels are, with the little snap in clips.

and that's it... the rest is self explainitory... take the speakers out :-D

sorry it was a bit long winded, but now even the person with absolutely no true intuition or mechanical knowledge can get this done
