'32 Chevy Coupe
my uncle and i have a coupe we would like to modernize, we want to make it fuel injected, rack and pinion steering, possibly IFS, A/C. so i was thinking of finding a wrecked mid to late 90's F-Body (Camaro, Firebird, Trans Am) with a LT-1 to start the project off. What do you guys think of this idea and do you know of any online salvage yards that i could search for a car or the parts that i need. thankyou for your help.

Re: '32 Chevy Coupe
personally i would say if thats they way your gonna go, why not spring for the LS1??? much better engine, and when all is said and done, its probly just as much work. as far as the computer, wiring, engine, and components. or an LS6???

Re: '32 Chevy Coupe
check out www.hpsalvage.com ... they have decent prices on some used stuff, and they only use good used parts, if that makes sense...

Re: '32 Chevy Coupe

Re: '32 Chevy Coupe
try not to drool too much, its a sexy beast, actually i think it would look really quite badass between the fenders of a 32 chevy.

Re: Re: '32 Chevy Coupe
yea i checked those sites out, i would love to have that engine for my car, problem is i found one on e-bay with a starting bid of $10,000( i didn't expect it to be cheap) and that was only for a an engine. i would still need an ecu wiring harness, sensors, transmission. i think i am going to hit up hpsalvage and see what an LS1 with a Six-speed would run.
thanks for the info and links on the LT5
