78 K-10 suspension/steering ??

I've got a 78 K-10 4wd. Truck runs great but I suspect it is in need of some front end work due to occasional "wheel hop" on the left side when it is in reverse. Also every now and then the steering wheel will jerk back and forth, but only at first, then it stops.

Any ideas what is causing these problems? In what order of priority should the front end components be worked on and where is the best place to buy parts for this truck? I'm pretty handy and can do a lot but have never worked on a front end before. Thanks a bunch in advance.

not sure about "wheel hop" if it does it without getting hard on the gas YOU'D better look for something coming apart!!!!!! get a book
on your truck ,after you look to see if it's save to drive, it can be a busted spring or u-bolt OR???? be safe
