94 camry LE shakes in drive....

when the car is parked or in neutral the car dosent shake, however when the car is in drive and it is just staying still it shakes alot. could an bad engine mount cause this?

I’d say it does look like an engine mount. To check, if you don’t have someone to help. Park the car on the flat surface, garage should do, put the transmission in the park, make sure that parking break is off, go to the front of the car and try rocking is back and force with your knee. If there is a play in your engine mount
you will see it right away. My top mount is shot too on the 95, just no time to get to the junk yard… yet

It might be normal. I have noticed several people have the same problem. If you feel it is annoying, why not just shift to N?

All the transverse-mounted 4 cylinder engines I have owned vibrated somewhat in gear with the brake on. If it is much worse than normal, then there is something wrong. If nothing has changed in how it feels, don't worry about it.
