Angry 1985 Suburban Steering Column with Tilt

I have a broken Ingnition Rack inside the column and it is still hooked to the ignition actuator. I am trying to get the broken piece out. I have the column apart down to the tilt portion, but can't figure out how to get this part off of the column. There are two tilt swivel pins on either side and the tilt locking portion on top. I am missing something and the Chiltons book does not tell how to specifically do this.
I need some help.

Thanks,
Blmitche

You will need to pull the 2 pins out to remove the tilt housing (assuming you have removed the steering shaft already).
There is a tool for pulling those pins..or you could use a slide hammer.

Thumbs up Thanks

I figured out how to do it. I have it halfway back together now, but one little piece of spring steel fell out of the turn signal housing while I was pulling it. I can't yet figure out where it goes. I need a part break down of this switch. Do you know where to get one?
