Finally, someone I agree with. I think that if Chevy wants to make a new muscle car, then by all means they should do it, but do NOT badge it as a Chevelle. You will never get the feel of an early Chevelle with a new one. There is no need for naming it a Chevelle, and I don't think they should try to revive the classics, especially 'cause they might screw it up by not offering a standard transmission or making power windows standard

I am thinking along the lines of the Monte Carlo and Impala here.
The new GTO, that wasn't a good idea. It's nothing but a re-badged Monaro. Granted, it's a sweet car, but it's not a true GTO. I would have no problem with this car, but they HAD to slap a GTO badge on it to try to make people buy it. A true GTO would be an affordable, American made street killer.
So no, I don't think there should be a new Chevelle. Give it a new name, and if they screw it up, it won't be besmerching a good name.
