Can anyone please help in this matter, i have a 2001 b18b1 gs integra automatic that falls on its face about during regular acceleration......
when under strong acceleration the car does fine a bit sluggish but fine.... if this is the tps sensor on the throttle body... do you have to buy the complete throttle body? i have already changed the coil and plug wires and the problem is still there... please help... give any advice you have
thank you

has the car had normal tune-up's? spark plug wires, spark plugs, timing belt, rotor, distibutor cap, etc?

when my car was like that, it was because the timing belt was not changed for a long period of time, and the belt jumped a tooth on my gears.. so i installed a new one, and it was fine.

the tps sensor would not be the culprit unless your ecu was throwing out the code. but as for replacing it, check the back.. the tps sensor. if there are screws, you can simply loosen them, take a volt-meter, and adjust it to fix it yourself. if it is damaged, you can unscrew the 2 screws, and replace it.
if they are not screws, and they are more like rivets, then you can take a rotozip with a thin bit, drill a slot into it, and use a flathead screwdriver to remove the screw. ( it is a screw, with a shaved head )

other then that, take a rotozip to it, and cut the screw off..

mine was the timing belt. real sluggish under 4k rpm but after that, whoa. replaced the timing belt and all is normal now.

make sure the timing marks line up on the inner to outter gear.. try to get them both to 0 & 0 , start the car, then turn it off.. then if your valve cover is cut, check to see if the gears line up.. if your valve cover is not cut, then pull your valve cover off, (multiple 10mm nuts) then check it..
if they are matching, and you still have the problem.. then another thing to check is your ignition timing.. the distributor
