Ferrari 312T3
Ok, couldn't resist it any longer. I've had this thing for about a week now and I just had to break into those packages!!
So, here's the pics. This is the Tameo 1:43 Ferrari 312T3, 1978 Canadian GP winning car of Gilles. It is a superkit with, I believe, 296 parts. I can't wait to get building, as you can see, the whole chassis is photoetch and it has to be folded and assemble just like the real car, without the rivets!!
Anyway, here you go, Progress to follow!

Tameo's kits are great and they have some of the best looking instructions around, using solid 3D looking CAD. Looks like you will be busy for awhile. Please keep us updated.

I've always wanted to see one of these kits go together. REAL 1:43rd scale kits are too cool and are always so detailed.

Best of luck, and keep us posted... I'm very interested to see how this one builds. Based in Luca's other work it should be a nice kit, my bro is doing the '76 McLaren at the moment and has been raving about it ever since he started it!
This one's been on my list for a while now, I just have a back log to get through first. It's good to find another 1:43 builder up here... we seem to be in short suppply!

Re: Ferrari 312T3
I have a great deal of respect for Tameo and people who build 1/43rd. I have too much time and money invested in larger scales to consider 1/43rd, but if I was starting over it would have to be the scale of choice, due to the huge number of subjects available.
Good luck with the kit, I will be very much looking forward to seeing your progress with it. Do you need a magnifying glass to keep track of all those tiny pieces?

OK, I promise to try and get better at photography!
Anyway, this is the first dry run of the photoetch chassis, nothing glued, just most of the parts snapped into place, the fit of these parts is nothing short of excellent, the thing is actually holding itself together!
Enjoy...
