V6 or Drop in an LT-1???

I have a 97 Firebird (v6), but am trying to decide between a Supercharged V6, or an LT-1 with a couple engine mods. Anyone know if I can fit a LS-1 into a 97? I don't think I can, but I know I can fit the LT-1. Please get back w/ me... Thanks...

well what do you have in it now...and id go with the LT1 the v6 may be faster at the time, but there is so much more you can do with the LT1 to go way past the v6

Of course I can get farther with the LT-1, but will it even fit?

i dont know if the engine mounts are different for the v6 then the v8, but the lt1 and ls1 will both fit., the ls1 would be the best choice but mods are expensive and it is just generally more expensive... and the lt1 has a better sound, but anyways... yea it should fit i think

yes, they both will fit (LT1 , LS1) and go with a LT1 cause i personally think you can get more out of a LT1 than a LS1, or at least at the moment you can because of the mods that are out for the LT1 right now, the LS1 hasn't had the time quite yet for companies to really get some high hp mods released
