changing brake pads 1995 Lumina van

It appears the caliper is mounted with pins that require a hex driver rather than a socket wrench to remove the pin? The head of the pin has a female hex on it that looks to me requires a male hex driver to remove. Am I correct on this?

I can't see any other way to get the caliper off the rotor?

If I am correct what size hex driver do I need?
