Need help on what to do/look for 4.3L
I picked up a project S10 Blazer (see previous post) and found out that it has been sitting for the last year. When I drained the oil about 1/2 Gal of coolent came out before any oil. First, What are the probible causes, Blown head gasket? Second, what are the chances of me not having to rebuild the whole motor? Third, When I pull the oil pan tomorrow, is there any thing spacific to look for or do?
Any help would be helpfull!!!

More than likely a blown head gasket... when you pull the oil pan, check the bearings, if they are cut, you will need to rebuild the motor...

You should be able to see if something is obviously not right. By cut I think he means engraved or ridges dug into the bearings.

Correct... Any marks, even if they look like it's just surface, means that you will have to do a rebuild...

Yep, you have to lift the engine, no way to get the oil pan off otherwise...

found out yesterday that the truck started having "issues" when the owners cousin removed the Breathalizer/Interlock device for him after he didn,t need it any more. what are the chances that an improperly removed Interlock device could cause the Blazer to run poorly and stall/not start? I'm thinking pretty good! The problem is that I don't know how those things work or what systems they hook up to.
Any help on this one would be great!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmm, the only thing it could be in a case like that is a bad ground or blown ecm
