GT500 Fairlady Z Debut

The 2004 Skyline GT-R replacement Gt500 Fairlady 350Z was announced at a press conference the other day, it will feature the VQ30DETT with 465 ps, and will be fielded by 3 teams.

The #1 and #22 Xanavi and Motul Nismo cars
The #3 G'zox car, and Team Impul's #12 Calsonic car.

So far confirmed for this year are 5 NSX and 4 Z, Toyota is expected to show their new entry within a month.

That kinda sucks they are retiring the R34 from JGTC... I hope the SKYLINE GTR returns to JGTC! I already heard the GTR will make a triumphant return to the market in 2007... I even heard the actual GTR will arrive on US soil this time! Pray!

In the meantime I'll root for the FAIRLADY's in JGTC! Is TOYOTA still running those pesky SUPRAS? Go get 'em NISSAN!

Toyota is back with the supra again, but the NSX is hyped as the car to beat this year

Nah, change is good. Some other manufacturers need to raise the bar, too. That's what motorsport is all about, after all.
