1995 Riv. Shut Down

The car had been sitting for about 4 weeks then I brought it out. Drove fine for awhile and then I parked it for about 10 min. After that I drove for about 45 min and looked in my rearview mirror and saw smoke everywhere. I stopped right away and shut the car off, popped the hood and nothing really came out but smoke was still coming out of the exhaust. There was a strange smell-I tried to start it again and pull it into the garage but it wont even turn over now. I start and everthing just stops. Its not the battery but I dont know anything else-HELP!
