Does anyone know approximately how much a Transmission for a 2002 GT with the 3.4 V6 in it goes for? All i would like to know is some general pricing if anyone knows.

well at one point i though i needed a new trans for my car (97 2.4L 5speed) and from a dealer it was 1900 and from a yard it was 600

but i would look in the phone book and call some junk yards and dealers and ask. or check out www.car-part.com

that site you gave me a rough estimate of what the trans will go for, and I already have an idea of labor. HOPEFULLY my trans will die before my warranty is up, so GM will HAVE to replace it!

well in that case beat the shit out of it, do a bunch of nuteral drops from like 5 grand till it breaks.
